ABOUT THE FAIR
The Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF) is an annual multi-day event celebrating contemporary art books and zines.
Founded in 2013, it is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia and has now established itself as one of the leading art book fairs in Asia. Each edition showcases the innovative approaches of exhibitors from Singapore and around the world, including artists, designers, distributors, small presses, institutions, galleries, zinemakers, and printmakers.
SGABF is committed to deepening the understanding of art books in Singapore, and encouraging the exploration of this diverse medium as a crucial, if not central aspect of art practices.
Organised by Thing Books.

ABOUT THE VENUE PARTNER
Whitestone Gallery is a prestigious Japanese art institution founded in Tokyo in 1967. Specializing in post‑war and contemporary Japanese art, it has played a pivotal role in championing the avant‑garde Gutai movement. Over five decades, it has expanded across East Asia—opening spaces in Ginza, Hong Kong, Taipei, Beijing, and most recently in Singapore’s Tanjong Pagar Distripark—the region’s largest gallery, redesigned by renowned architect Kengo Kuma. Representing both post‑war masters and emerging talents, Whitestone also bridges Japanese and global art scenes through solo and group exhibitions and its presence on major international art fair stages.
New Art Museum Singapore, opened in October 2023, is the second branch following the establishment of the Karuizawa New Art Museum in 2012.
Sharing a space with Whitestone Gallery at Tanjong Pagar Distripark, the museum presents a broader and ever-evolving range of artistic works, offering a platform for diverse movements and styles. With a primary focus on the Gutai movement, the museum showcases its impact on modern and contemporary art while exploring fresh perspectives and providing dynamic art experiences for all audiences.
