SendPoints is a publisher and leading distributor of art and design books. Hoxton Mini Press is an indie publisher from East London and their goal is to bring art and photography to a wider audience. GOST is an independent visual arts and photography publisher based in London.

C03    Feelers [SG]

Feelers is a research lab focused on the intersections of art and technology. Their projects are invitations to think critically and empathetically about our world; and to build a community that learns and works together. Feelers is a bid for another world to come into being. Glimpses of it are found in how they sustain themselves, how they choose to listen instead of turn away, and how they question paradigms of acceleration and extraction.


C04    SWELL x Faction Press [SG]

SWELL is a graphic design studio focused on delivering works in the printed matter format, namely from the arts and culture sector. The studio has a 12 year history of working with artists, writers, private galleries as well as institutions in producing publications and helping independent bodies produce books. This year, SWELL is joined by their collaborator Faction Press, an independent non-fiction micropress dedicated to bringing stories from Southeast Asia to the world. Founded in 2020, Faction Press seeks to bring together voices and narratives that shape our region and its diasporas.

Further Reading is an independent multi-format publishing platform with a production and distribution unit. They seek to engage in discourse within design practices by exploring the wider contexts through various programmed experiences, such as online publication, printed periodicals, pop-ups, and workshops on topics relevant to/within Indonesia, Southeast Asia, as well as globally. /
RJ Paper has been the trusted partner for thousands of designers, creators, artists and makers since 1987. For decades, their personal touch to customers and attention to materiality have positioned them right at the heart of creative communities and their projects.

Team Cook is a creative duo of Gian Jonathan and Astri Nursalim. The couple is working in advertising by day, but cooking things by night. Come hungry! On the menu there will be new books, random decoration objects, and many other unnecessary things!

Aaah is a nomadic creative practice helmed by Ryan Len and Ella Zheng, where pleasures carry no guilt and ideas aren’t talked down to.

The Slow Press (est. 2021) is an independent food magazine based in Singapore that is fixated on the rich stories behind what we eat. Through longform journalism, design, illustration, and photography, the magazine seeks to bring Singapore’s vibrant food heritage to the foreground in an introspective, yet quirky and fun way. They hope to shed light on the ways of looking at food to help you truly appreciate the goodness that goes into your stomach.

LOST is a magazine about self-discovery through travel. It is a magazine that features real stories, personal reflections and epiphanies from people around the world. It believes that travel isn’t about fancy hotels or tourist destinations, but about immersing oneself in someplace entirely foreign to feel extremely uncomfortable so that one can learn from it. It believes that travel is a state of mind.

In Plain Words is a Singapore-based editorial studio that examines everyday life through food and design.

B11    ALL-BOOK-S [SG]

Inspiring print, empowering authors and creatives, sharing stories, spreading books worldwide — ALL-BOOK-S is an exclusive online bookshop by Allegro Print, offering a curated collection of books printed by them. Their selection features unique publications from independent publishers, artists, and designers, primarily in Singapore, often hard to find in mainstream bookstores.

B12    OFFCUT [SG]

For every printed matter that is created, remnants from their make are inevitably left behind. OFFCUT was created to re-purpose these remnant papers into refreshed stationery, turning "waste material" into sustainable goods for everyday use. This is an initiative by Allegro Print to reduce paper waste and repurpose waste paper from our their print production process. They also utilize excess space within print jobs to minimise offcuts, allowing them to create their unique stationery designs.


B13    Grey Projects/ Valiz [SG/NL]

Grey Projects (est. 2008) is a library, a residency apartment, a studio, and two galleries. Out of these spaces they generate curatorial and exchange activities. They make books, exhibitions, talks, residencies, reading groups, and workshops. Grey Projects is interested in new design practices, writing, curatorial research, and art propositions. / Valiz is an independent international publisher on contemporary art, theory, critique, design and urban affairs. Their books offer critical reflection, interdisciplinary inspiration, and often establish a connection between cultural disciplines and socio-political questions. Apart from publishing, Valiz organizes lectures, debates and other cultural projects in which certain topics in contemporary art are explored.

C14    National Gallery Singapore and Singapore Art Museum [SG]

National Gallery Singapore is a visual arts institution which oversees the largest public collection of modern Singapore and Southeast Asian art. The Gallery publishes books on the visual arts of Singapore and Southeast Asia. Its core genres include exhibition catalogues, Southeast Asian art research, general titles and children’s books. / Singapore Art Museum has built one of the world’s most important public collections of Southeast Asian contemporary artworks, with a growing component in international contemporary art. Publishing on contemporary Southeast Asian art-making and art-thinking, the SAM imprint comprises exhibition catalogues, artist monographs, research publications and general titles.

C15    Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore [SG]

NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore (NTU CCA Singapore) was founded as a national research centre. From 2013-21, NTU CCA engaged in knowledge production and dissemination through its threefold constellation of exhibitions, residencies, and research and academic education. Since closing its exhibition hall in 2021, NTU CCA Singapore has continued to serve as a space for critical discourse, encouraging new ways of thinking about Spaces of the Curatorial in Southeast Asia and beyond. NUS Press publishes academic books and journals, art books, and high quality general non-fiction in the social science and humanities disciplines. They are particularly attentive to the priorities of writers and readers concerned with Singapore and Southeast Asia. NUS Press is highly competitive for book prizes in Asian Studies, discipline-based prizes, and local Singaporean book awards.

B17    Street Report [SG]

Street Report is an ongoing project of accounts describing in detail situations or events on the street, usually from the result of observation and inquiry by a Street Reporter. Street Report reviews local and human-scale realities.

B18    INFINITIF [BE]

INFINITIF is a Brussels based artists' book publisher that functions as a platform for creating, publishing and distributing artist publications. INFINITIF was founded in 2021 by Jelle Martens and Tim Bruggeman.

Catherine Hu is an artist working primarily in sculpture and print media. Roxanne Tingyi Wang is an artist who works primarily in painting, print-making, design and self-published artist’s books.

B20   Nung-Hsin Hu [TW]

Nung-Hsin Hu (胡農欣) is a Taiwanese interdisciplinary artist who interweaves time-based media, installation, performance, and artist’s books in her practice. Her work intends to reveal the invisible status, articulate the unconsciousness, and perform the vulnerability through a poetic and whimsical approach. Her current projects utilize analog film as the main medium, applying light-sensitive, nostalgic, and ephemeral features to address a sense of loss and touch on the subjects of time, memory, and mortality. Hu has also participated in various residencies including Arctic Circle Residency Program in Svalbard, the SÍM residency in Iceland, and the 18th Street Arts Center in Los Angeles.

B21    1 and Half Atelier [CN]

1 and Half Atelier is a full-service design studio offering multidisciplinary services, including bookbinding and graphic design, from initial concept to final production. The studio was founded in 2016 by co-founders Zhong Yu and Bai Kui, who operate under the brand name "After Intermission" when collaborating on design projects. They believe there should be no predetermined boundaries and take an integrated approach to their work. This philosophy empowers them to fluidly adapt to various roles—whether as designers, editors, or bookbinders—seamlessly dismantling the barriers between art and technique.

dmp editions is a publishing label that involves a multidisciplinary approach to publishing, content editing, art direction and all things related to book-making. They work with artists, photographers, editors, and curators to develop an alternative perspective of the world portrayed through the pages of a book.

commune is a gallery and bookshop founded in Tokyo in 2009. In 2013, the shop established their own independent press, “commune Press” to further their founding mission to introduce great and promising artists to as many people as possible all around the world.

C26    Temporary Press [SG]

Temporary Press publishes books around design that are not necessarily considered design and relies on improvised and economical design and production methods, often with a black-only Risograph and simple tools. Based in Singapore since 2018, Temporary Press is run by design studio gideon-jamie and distributed internationally by Idea Books.

C27    The Institute of Critical Zoologists [SG]

The Institute of Critical Zoologists is an organisation founded by Robert Zhao Renhui. Robert Zhao is an interdisciplinary artist who explores the complex and co-mingled relationships between nature and culture. Working in installation, photography, video and sculpture, Zhao is interested in the multifarious beings and objects that constitute the living world, and whose experiences and knowledge enrich our collective existence.

C28    Atelier HOKO [SG]

Atelier HOKO (2002) is an independent research lab that focuses on the study of the growing disengagement between people, things and space. The atelier hopes to cultivate in people, an open-ness and ability to un-know, bringing about a heightened curiosity towards all phenomena by taking a fresh look at reality. Founded by Alvin Ho and Clara Koh.

C29    Printed Matter, Inc. [US]

Printed Matter, Inc. is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1976 by artists and art workers with the mission to foster the distribution, understanding, and appreciation of artists' books and related artists' publications. Through the NY and LA Art Book Fairs, two storefronts, an online catalog, and other distribution channels, Printed Matter circulates more than 45,000 publications annually on behalf of artists and independent publishers. Printed Matter also offers comprehensive free public programming, online resources, and educational initiatives for the medium.

Founded in 2015, abC is dedicated to promoting local artists’ books and independent publications in China as well as introducing excellent global publishers and institutions to establish a profound multilateral dialogue. As the most professional exhibition of artist’s books and expo of independent publications, abC Art Book Fair takes place in Beijing and Shanghai respectively. It has been developing a distinct influence in the fields of contemporary art, design, and publishing, welcoming thousands of publishers, media platforms, and visitors around the world. DREAMER FTY was founded in 2007. Publishing book as projects and collaborate with artists. Currently, DREAMER FTY acts as the independent publishing project of art book in China.

C31   Hothouse & Progressive Disintegrations [SG]

Founded in 2020, Hothouse is a creative exchange platform shared by INTER–MISSION, Currency, and formAxioms. The collective fosters encounters that strengthen critical and longform creative practices, embracing speculation, excess, and ambiguity as part of its creative exchange with artists, creatives, businesses, and audiences. Today, Hothouse focuses on technological transdisciplinary work through its Internal Projects series, public programmes, and publications.

Progressive Disintegrations is a collaborative group project that began in early 2020 out of the need to create a format that provides a space to exchange creative and artistic practices between Chua Chye Teck, Marc Gloede, Hilmi Johandi and Wei Leng Tay. The project aimed to open normally individual artistic and curatorial practices up to those of others, creating situations to explore and expand the participants’ notions of their own practices.


B32    Studio150 [TH]

STUDIO150 is a Bangkok-based design studio that leverages graphic design as a core tool across all mediums, specializing in information interpretation, design research, and data visualization. Founded by Piyakorn Chaiverapundech and Pat Laddaphan, the studio bridges graphic design with contemporary art, focusing on observation, multidisciplinary research, curation, and storytelling. Their work transforms contemporary data and objects into diverse projects, including publications, exhibitions, and commissioned works. STUDIO150 co-founded the BANGKOK ART BOOK FAIR in 2017 and participated in Momentum 12, the 12th Nordic Biennale for Contemporary Art.

COPYRIGHT/ RESERVED Extensive Publishing is part of COPYRIGHT/ RESERVED, an experimental design studio based in Indonesia specializing in a diverse range of creative solutions and deliverables, the studio was established in 2018 and operates as a studio-based creative business committed to delivering editorial-quality branding and design. The Copyright/ Reserved Extensive Object and Publishing bureau was inspired by the extraordinary results of interdisciplinary collisions. In this bureau, they aim to explore the interpretation of "book" and "object" as a medium—an intervening substance, like air, through which a force acts or an effect is produced.

B34    KULTRATED [SG]

A curator of chaos, a guardian of the underground's precious relics where shelves are a filled with riot colours and creativity. Each zine's a unique artifact, a snapshot of someone's unbridled imagination, a middle finger to the mainstream's stifling grip, a connoisseur of the unconventional, and a champion of the unapologetic. They find solace in the beauty of the lawless and the allure of the unknown beckons like a siren's call.

B35    TRI.PAR.TITE [SG]

TRI.PAR.TITE also known as T.P.T is a design collective showcasing local works. They do prints, zines, shirts and nicknacks. They are a three men team that explores youth culture and design. They try our best to showcase external works from their friends in every physical booth we exist in. 

C36   Grafis Nusantara [ID]

Grafis Nusantara is a platform dedicated to archiving vintage Indonesian labels and stickers – presenting the archipelago’s lavish visuals and their significance as knowledge and reference materials.

B37    Binatang Press [ID]

Binatang Press! is Jakarta-based small-scale independent publisher. They represent non-mainstream collaborators and bring them to a wider audience. They tell stories of what subculture is like in Indonesia, working mostly with independent creative communities around them.

C38    Knuckles & Notch [SG]

Knuckles & Notch is a creative studio and Risograph press known for their manically colourful and often bizarre aesthetic. Their productions aim to reflect the fantastical in everyday life and reinterpret the mundane through its brand of morbid humour. Their love for art-making is rooted in the inimitable charm of the analogue medium. It believes in the unique quality of the hands-on process, where idiosyncrasies foster greater relatability between creators and their audience. In that spirit, it persists in creating art through analogue means while continually exploring innovative ways to harmonise traditional mediums with our ever-changing contemporary landscape.

Founded in Beijing in 2018, Monster Workshop is an indie art and graphic design studio with Letterpress and Risograph Printing. They aspire to MAKE GOOD THINGS HAPPEN and carry good things through to the end.

Presenting #girlswholift. A creative collective of Illustrator, Designer & Visual Artist, HAFI (@hahahafi) & Illustrator & Tattoo Artist, Bee(@almostasthma). Both HAFI & Bee have had years of experience manoeuvring through the creative industry with touch points in multi-disciplinary work that is deeply rooted in illustration and imaginative fun. #girlswholift is an ode to their creative practice, balancing work and life; and making sense of their present world.

HOMOCATS were created by Brooklyn artist J. Morrison in 2010, with a zine entitled "Fight the Power". HOMOCATS is a annual zine and visual art project that connects the modern popularity of the feline with social politics. We create a line of screenprinted apparel, and publish zines, artist books, and prints. We aim to fight phobias, propose equal rights, combat cultural stereotypes, question social norms, resist Trumpism, and to make the world a better place.

0rbit is, above all, multidisciplinary and FLINTA focused. They're a circuit that seeks to set in motion the exploration of different artforms; for alternative perspectives to come together within a communal ecosystem where creatives thrive and imagine beyond limits. From zines, to art, to raves, to performances, to mutual aid and more.

B43    x_x [AR]

x_x is the excuse to meet and exchange learning, travel, anecdotes and adventures among friends. It is a small publishing house that has its own riso and screen printing workshop, although due to its itinerant and unstable nature, it also works a lot in borrowed workshops, spaces for friends and reconfigured corners of hostels, borrowed houses, bars or squares. The idea is to tell in a fanciful, colorful and somewhat lying way our passage through this sick and sad world.

C44    ODD ONE OUT [HK]

ODD ONE OUT is the first gallery in Hong Kong dedicated to illustration, graphic arts & printmaking situated in the Hong Kong. Opened in 2012, they have been exhibiting printmakers and illustrators around the world. Since 2014, they have started editioning and publishing limited edition art prints and artist books by local artists who have not traditionally worked in printmaking medium.

Tara Books is a collective of writers, artists and designers, based in Chennai, South India. Known for richly illustrated books, the collective offers a unique list that includes titles in children’s literature, photography, graphic novels, art and art education.

C47    REDFOXPRESS & ANTIC-HAM [IE]

Redfoxpress is run by Francis Van Maele and Antic-Ham in Achill island, Ireland. In their silkscreen studio on the edge of Atlantic Ocean they work intensively in collaboration, publishing artist’s books and screen printed editions. Redfoxpress publishes an ongoing collection named “C’est mon dada” with works of visual poetry and Fluxus, with 202 titles so far.

B48    Nadiia Zhelieznova [UAE]

Nadiia Zhelieznova is an artist and an illustrator based in Abu Dhabi. She works with analog and digital mediums, make graphics, zines, books, and sculptures. Fairy tales and humor are her sources of inspiration. She pays a special interest to shaping, textures, and naivety in order to explore the line between ugly and beautiful, between serious and funny.

B49    yoon.miwon [KR]

Yoon Miwon creates animations, drawings, and self-published books from the images we repeatedly see in our daily lives. Suffering from this overabundance yet still being allured by it, Yoon Miwon contemplates and works on this thin border.

B50    FancyToi [CN]

Toi(馬 小萌) is an artist and illustrator. In 2019, she began to explore a personal style and is now working on the "FancyToi" series. Her work consists of paintings, animations, and artist books. She is curious about the thickness of time and the shuttle state of space, and in her work, frames and frames burst into infinite possibilities in the gap of time.

Bird Pit is an artist and self publisher that lives and works in Seoul. He humorously and satirically depicts various scenes of daily.

B52    Corners [KR]

Founded in 2012, Corners provides graphic design services for publications/prints, digital images, websites, exhibition graphics, and signage. It also curates exhibitions, makes merchandise, and creates research-based publications. Corners runs a printing and publishing house that specializes in risograph printing presses and collaborates with friends and other creatives.

B53    Aperture Brought Me Here [TH]

Aperture Brought Me Here is a self-motivated enterprise that investigates the relationship between photographic narrative and its conceptual documentary. It is a visual experiment with an attempt to take photography beyond itself, and use communication design to convey the intended narrative through the craft of publication design. The scope of work revolves around a prospect of how a book could interact with the readers through a series of photographs without an influence of words.

A54    The Sandwich Club [UK/HK]

The Sandwich Club is a bookmaking studio/artist book publisher/risograph press. Based in London, the studio collaborates with and publish works for artists of different fields to share stories, visuals, and cultures across the world. The Sandwich Club also focuses on risograph printing and bookbinding, and all books are handbound and printed in-house.


A55    ASIAN_FOOD_DESIGN [JP]

ASIAN_FOOD_DESIGN is a project initiated by graphic designer and illustrator Takako Masuki, focusing on Asian cuisine. It involves the creation of zines and paintings, other products using the risograph printing technique. Asian Food Travel won first place in the design category at the 2021 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

C56    NEUTRAL COLORS / PLANKTON [JP]

NEUTRAL COLORS is an independent publisher, it is also the name of the magazine it publishes, as well as the name of the bookbinding company. The three are organically connected. The publishing style of NEUTRAL COLORS is to have a small group of people getting together to handle everything from printing, and binding to distribution. The aim is to create an economically sustainable medium-scale publishing company that is somewhere between mass commercial printing and small-volume independent printing.

B57    TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR [JP]

TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR started in 2009; the first book fair in Japan to specialize in art publications. Held annually, it gathers independent publishers, gallery presses, bookshops as well as individual artists and groups. The fair has seen constant growth in its scale and content over the years, and the event now gathers more than 350 participants from Japan and abroad and attracts more than 20,000 visitors every year. At the fair, visitors can communicate with and buy publications directly from hundreds of publishers and artists who create unique and innovative art publications; they can also enjoy various events including special exhibitions, talks/panel discussions and film screenings. As the biggest of its kind in Asia, TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR aims to champion and lead art publishing culture in the region, and create the ideal opportunity for visitors to experience the ever evolving, vibrant arena of arts publishing.

Aprilsnow Press initiated the publication of photobooks in 2013. Since then, the press has planned and published 24 photobooks. The press is helmed by design writer Kay Jun and book designer Jeong Jae-wan. With an aspiration that photobooks can serve as a gateway for young photographers, the dissemination of inexpensive yet high-quality photo book culture, and the interrogation of photographic chauvinism have become the motto of photobook publishing. Through their publishing activities, Kay Jun and Jeong Jaewan endeavor to stimulate critical reflection on the intersection between photography and the book.

B59    Through The Roof + trisected [SG]

Through The Roof is a platform where we hope to encourage young creatives in their creative careers. They organise collaborative zine groups comprising of students, fresh graduates, and working professionals within the Singaporean creative industry. They also aim to create more avenues for creative expression for younger creatives learning how to finesse their craft more. / Trisected is the creative expressions of Joel Choong - through watercolour sketches, graphic design, and other forms of creative inspiration. Joel turns 35 this year, and the theme running through his creative work is "Losing My Youth", as youth are aged from 18-35.

C60    BLUE PAGES ▶︎ NOTE Artbook project [JP]

BLUE PAGES ▶︎ NOTE Artbook project is a publishing project that presents "conceptual art books, each with a unique story" in Japan and internationally. In addition to selling art books, they offer workshops where participants can learn the entire process of creating art books, from mini books to more advanced productions. The project not only provides educational aspects of art book creation but also offers opportunities for cultural exchange, fulfilling a socially meaningful role.

C61    Jom [SG]

Jom is a weekly digital magazine covering arts, culture, politics, business, technology and more in Singapore. Though the initial focus will be on long-form writing and photography, Jom is committed to a diversity of formats, from short-form video to audio podcasts.

B62   applause [JP]

[applause] is the publishing label by the design studio 'ampersands'. They noticed that movies, concerts, and plays are applauded after the show, but great books don't get applause. The concept of the book is not to be applauded, but to send out a book that makes you want to give a small round of applause in your heart.

C63    BOOK AND SONS [JP]

BOOK AND SONS are a specialist art and photo bookshop based in Tokyo and a distributor of Japanese art and photo books to the world. The bookshop aims to share feelings and knowledge about Japanese culture through Japanese art books.

B64   Tall Poppy Press [AU]

Tall Poppy Press is an Australia-based publisher of photography books, workshops and merch with an aim to publish excellent Australian photography, or collaborations between Australian and non-Australian artists and bring these to the rest of the world. Tall Poppy believes in emerging artists, financially fair models of publishing and making books somewhere between a coffee table tome and a zine. They like imperfection, texture and things that are delightful and joyful. Founded in 2021, TPP is run by Matt Dunne and Morganna Magee.

C65    Hopper&Fuchs [BE]

HOPPER&FUCHS is an independent publishing house based in Antwerp, Belgium. HOPPER&FUCHS started in December 2019 with the publication ‘For my Mother’ by Ren Hang, placing H&F on the art book publishing map. Since then, HOPPER&FUCHS have been creating a dynamic and high-quality portfolio of art books and photobooks. All books are printed by publisher Bruno Devos in Belgium. Bruno Devos has been working in the publishing and printing world for over thirty years and uses his expertise and knowledge to guide artists in creating one of the greatest objects in the world, an art book.


B66    Perimeter Editions [AU]

Perimeter Editions is the award-winning publishing imprint of Melbourne-based bookstore Perimeter Books and distribution house Perimeter Distribution. Releasing its first publication in 2012, Perimeter Editions’ focus rests on publishing autonomous books in close collaboration with photographers, artists, curators and writers. Its publications exhibit a criticality and sensitivity to content and form.

SUPER LABO is a Tokyo-based publisher specializing in photo books. Founded in 2009 by Yasunori Hoki in Tokyo, SUPER LABO walks the line between art and culture (fashion & subculture) by expanding its own interpretation of art photography. Their projects involve various types of photographers who are energetically active in the world.

THEBOOKSHOW is a platform for artists to showcase self-published art books in exhibitions and art festivals. PPIPPIPRESS is a press or lack thereof started by Bryan and Jamie who are nobodies but are really interested in pretty and interesting books, so they make books that are hopefully pretty interesting. Also, they dream of owning a risoprinter.

D72    Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts [SG]

Established in 1938, the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) is Singapore's leading arts institution, known for its rigorous academic programmes, innovative teaching methods, and strong community engagement. Now a part of the University of the Arts Singapore (UAS), NAFA welcomes its inaugural intake in August 2024.

The Faculty of Art & Design at NAFA fosters students' exploration of their artistic identities. Its dynamic, practice-oriented curriculum sparks creativity, enhances problem-solving skills, and refines technical expertise through hands-on studio work, industry partnerships, and real-world internships. RUBBISH FAMZINE (family zine) is an award winning annual
editorial project by art collective Holycrap.sg. This family of 4 consisting of Claire, the 50 yr old mom, Renn, the 21 yr old son, Aira, the 18 yr old daughter & Pann, the 51 yr old dad believes that expression is a form of art. This is their platform for bizarre discussions & curious experiments in an attempt to compile all sorts of strange & not so strange absurdities
that interest them as a family.

Shuilam Wong, or simply Shui, is a wandering visual artist who grew up in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China and the UK. She creates zines, illustrations, and animations using a graphic, reportage style. Often sketching on location at various places, she uses live drawing to capture and record people. From portraits of musicians and dancers to comics featuring animals in therapy, her self published works are a vibrant documentation of life and dreams.

Funky Zine Forest is a temp zine group made up of 4res and Handowin. 4res is a graphic designer from Hong Kong. Handowin HE is an award-winning author-illustrator based in NYC/Shanghai. Through Handowin’s visualized stories, an incomparable world outlook could be recognized. 4res’ unique viewpoint and critical thinking differentiate him from others. Their cooperation will definitely spur sparks.

Beverley Ng is an artist working with collage and illustration. She occasionally runs zine workshops and writes a newsletter, with the aims of helping others rediscover the joys of connection through visual art and printed matter.

Tico books is an independent art book publisher created by graphic designer Hyoju Jung and artist Yiyoung Song who deals with painting and photography. Tico books creates publications that tell the stories of artists with various identities. By collaborating with artists, we want to become a bird whistle that fully preserves and conveys the essence of their work and visual culture.

林家夯 Lin Jaihang is a Kaohsiung native who graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts, and is now a graphic designer, living in Taipei. Claiming to be “an ambiguous style photographer", from the perspective of a gay man, he documents an intimate and loving relationship with a male partner in a private rental.


A82  NOTHINGISREAL [KR]

NOTHINGISREAL, an artist-run space in Seoul, Korea, was established in 2021, originating from the simple idea of sharing a portion of an artist's studio to create an exhibition space for fellow artists. NOTHINGISREAL is committed to showcasing artists who have exhibited in the space by actively participating in book fairs to engage with broader audiences and foster artistic connections. In June 2024, NOTHINGISREAL expanded and relocated from Buam-dong to Hyehwa-dong, Seoul, allowing greater access to the community.

ampulets was founded as a commercial design studio in 2006 by James Teo. Today, Yvonne Tham runs ampulets solely for independent and collaborative art and design projects that throw the spotlight on Singapore’s creatives. Small-batch art books are its current obsession.


A86    backbonebooks & Oscar Salguero [DE/MX]

Claudia de la Torre founded Berlin-based backbonebooks in 2011 as an extension of her artistic practice serving as a platform for publishing and conceptualising artists’ books. Through a processual, conceptual and collaborative approach she aims to open new perspectives into what a book can be.

Oscar Salguero is an independent curator, researcher, and archivist based in Brooklyn. In 2021 at Center for Book Arts, NY, he curated Interspecies Futures [IF], a survey of artists' books exploring the intersection of speculative fiction and new interspecies possibilities. Salguero founded Interspecies Library in 2019, the first archive of artists’ books exploring various subjects of interspecies research such as animal communication, plant intelligence, microbial cultures, queer ecology, animism, bioart, etc.

Creatively applying the cultural politics of content, form, and style whilst critically dissecting these to spark literacy, Set Margins’ Publications enforces the voices of marginalized cultural agendas. As a support structure, a platform for production, a network and publisher, Set Margins’ frames current impulses with particular focus for communication, forms of cooperation, and involved politics.

te editions is an independent publishing house based in New York and Beijing that explores the intersection of the arts and humanities. te editions examine the historical and contemporary social landscape through a diversified and microscopic lens, focusing on how the cultures encounter, collapse and transform each other within the global cultural flow. Driven by "curatorial thinking on paper" in our editorial approach, the publishing house hopes to stimulate new discussions informed by a genuinely interdisciplinary perspective.

Bluetaped showcases the works of three Singaporean designers, Eng Geng, Isaac and Choon Wee, each contributing works surrounding the theme of building conservation in Singapore through unique book publications. Isaac's publication captures conservation through photography, documenting the exploration of Pearl Bank Apartments and Golden Mile Complex. Choon Wee's work conserves the memories and ephemeral qualities of buildings through scent, Eng Geng's publication encourages the process of upcycling furniture from these homes, transforming them into handcrafted mementos. Together, they have united their efforts to offer alternative perspectives on conserving en bloc buildings in Singapore.

Driven by a constant curiosity of our surroundings and human behaviours and the ever-changing world, Do Not Design is in a continuous development to imagine, create emotionally-driven work. Part branding consultancy, part marketing agency, part thought-services, the studio harnesses the art of growth hack and creative strategy to solve business problems, and transform brands from great to extraordinary. Do Not Design also design and publish books. For the past decade, they have published Dear, Assembled: Portrait of a Space, Architecture and the Architect, worked with John Clang, Juliana Tan, Kathy Anne Lim, DECK, National Museum of Singapore, National Gallery Singapore.

Curated by Shawn Lee, narrativeforms is a collection of passions and experimentations exploring art and design, in conjunction with his architectural background.

Suburbia Projects is an architecture books retailer and publisher based out in the suburbs of Petaling Jaya. Founded in 2020 by Ashran Bahari and Naadiya Hani, Suburbia Projects aims to fill the gaps in critical and meaningful publications in architecture with a strong focus on virtues and values over aesthetics.

A95    ArtReview [UK]

Founded in 1949, ArtReview is one of the world’s leading international contemporary art magazines, dedicated to expanding contemporary art’s audience and reach, and tracing the ways it interacts with culture in general. Aimed at both a specialist and a general audience, the magazine and its sister publications, ArtReview Asia (launched in 2013) and a quarterly Chinese edition of ArtReview (published in partnership with Yishu Shijie and launched in 2022), feature a mixture of criticism, reviews, commentary and analysis alongside commissioned artist projects, guides and special supplements.


A96    Other People's Books [SG]

Other People's Books is a growing archive and collection of books produced by Ryan Lim Zi Yi, Kimberly Wee, Mingli Seet and Lu Yixin. The collection of titles features records of scrutinised, absurd, radicalised observations and documentations that capture the unspectacular of everyday life. Other People's Books has assembled the first set of books about a group of software engineers discussing mathematical accuracies; individuals lost at sea since the 1970s; an old friend who frequently took smoke breaks; and the gradual lapses in memory from a cherished trip to Japan.


A97    Right, there is nothing. / sesamespace [JP]

“Right, there is nothing.” is the publishing label of artist duo “sesamespace” who create collages, photographs, installations and editor Yumi Ashida. The label curates exhibitions of contemporary art, showcasing the works of various groups or creators. This year, the artist duo is working as “Right, there is nothing. / sesamespace”, focusing on publishing art books and participating in art book fairs around the world.

Sought under the loose banner of irreverent experimental project COCKEYE, this iteration comprises artists, filmmakers, office workers, and a stickman, from Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Austria, Italy, and Mexico, bringing forth their zines, comics, and crafts with a sincere heart and an earnest attitude. Our specially designed booth invites patrons with non-discerning palates to dine in our no-Michelin-star establishment offering naïve literature and creations by ants chua, Bruno Ruiz, Chong Lingying, Hazel Koh, Lam Li Shuen and Mark Chua, Leo Cheng, Mike Chang, Pong, Rika Kojima, Tricia Lim, txting, Sophia Derweduwen, Viknesh Kobinathan, Yasmin Bernart, and The Yang One. AST100    Ornate Gesture [AU]

Ornate Gesture is the small-press practice of Australian-based designer Ed Hubber. The imprint self-publishes zines and books that explore big ideas in small ways and take a cheeky look at design culture. They also share publications from emerging makers through Ornate Other – where a community of care through small-press is being built. Recent publications have explored the rental crisis through monopoly, giddiness of friendship through vintage cake images, and the recycling of symbols in visual culture by documenting a large collection of lobster artefacts.


AST101    EXTRA CREDIT [US/KR]

Extra Credit is an ongoing series of instructional books and zines by Jean Y. Kim. EC editions are explorations of book making, creative coding and RISO printing processes. Each zine plays with pedagogical formats and design to share unique and bright artifacts for readers to enjoy and learn something new.


AST102    PEER [SG]

PEER is a collective of zine makers hailing from various backgrounds - from fine arts, community building, design, to policy - who crave a creative outlet. This gathering of different interests, skills, and perspectives play out in a supportive space for the discussion and development of ideas and new works.


AST103    51 Personae [CN]

51 Personae is a collaborative art project, publishing initiative, and cooperative platform. It started as an off-site program of the 11th Shanghai Biennale, and has evolved into a self-sustaining independent art publishing project, believing that publishing is both an urgent and valid artistic practice. 51 Personae places special emphasis on life experiences in Asia and the Third World, as well as marginalized voices under suppression. It collaborates with individual artists, designers, translators, collectives and self-organized social forms in Asia and beyond; exploring the contemporary forms, possibilities and potential of "realism" in art as expressive actions.


AST104    radioriotgrrrl [SG]

radioriotgrrrl (RRG) is Nadhirah Khalid and Mengju Lin, or Natto and MJ. RRG was born during their angsty art school years. Borrowing the ethos of the riot grrrl movement of the 90’s, RRG is about punk, intersectionality, and making a more hospitable and joyful world together.

SHRUB [SG]

SHRUB is a store specialising in independent artist products. Located in a former locksmith store at Golden Mile Tower, SHRUB presents a melting pot of curated zines, prints, tees, and various odds and ends. Concurrently, the space is used as a base for people to come together, create, explore, discuss, and collaborate. In true D.I.Y spirit, the people at SHRUB believe that being self-taught and learning from our peers is an invaluable and sacred gift.
