Marketing & Communications Assistant
for Singapore Art Book Fair 2023 (SGABF2023)

Project Period: Nov 2022 – Apr 2023
Commitment: ~ 3 hrs/day, 4 days/wk


This job is open to independent arts producers, workers and managers based in Singapore.


You will be tasked to do the following —

°    Develop and manage SGABF2023’s overall marketing campaign and timelines for social media, media buys, and creative collaterals

°    Manage SGABF’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook), manage public queries, and overall maintenance of both platforms

°    Manage SGABF’s email database, including designing and sending out EDMs

°    Work alongside designers to finalise all marketing collaterals, website content and digital assets for SGABF2023

°    Cultivate and maintain media contacts to generate relevant stories, interviews & other media coverage for SGABF2023.
Generate press releases and organise media interviews (print, radio & TV) for the event

°    Track and evaluate campaign performance and results across platforms to formulate effective strategies for future editions of SGABF


Requirements —

•    Possess good knowledge and understanding of the arts. Prior knowledge of art books, artists’ books and zines is preferred

•    Able to work independently and learn quickly on the job

•    Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and lllustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

•    Experience in copywriting is highly favourable

•    Contextual and historical knowledge on working with previous arts festivals or visual arts related events is preferred

•    Able to communicate clearly with various stakeholders such as design agencies, exhibitors and external vendors

•    Singaporean/PR
