In January 2019, INTER—MISSION organised Sim Lim Square Art Residency (SLSAR), a 3-week artist residency at Sim Lim Square that sought to code and recode perspectives surrounding art, technology, and space. The publication is a culmination of the SLSAR project and contains reflections and writings by soft/WALL/studs, Andreas Schlegel, Dr. Liew Kai Khun, Johann Yamin, W.Y.Huang, Debbie Ding, Weixin Chong, Ko Tzu-An, EOM JeongWon and more. Each publication also comes with a unique “skin” wrapped over the cover, much like the same skins that served as a kind of interface to the whole residency.
